FINS Hospitality Group Brings Claws Seafood House to Bethany Beach, Expanding a Delaware Favorite

Bethany Beach, DE – FINS Hospitality Group is excited to announce the opening of its newest restaurant, Claws Seafood House, located at 210 Garfield Parkway, Bethany Beach, DE 19930. The restaurant officially opened to the public this past weekend, welcoming its first guests to a new coastal dining destination in the heart of Bethany Beach.

Since opening on Rehoboth Avenue in 2006, Claws Seafood House has become a staple for both locals and visitors, known for its lively atmosphere, fresh seafood, and standout all-you-can-eat crab specials. Expanding into Bethany Beach allows even more guests to experience one of the region's most beloved crab house destinations.

The new location began with a soft opening on April 2, followed by its official public debut over the weekend. Owners TJ Linton and JR Hamer are excited to bring the Claws experience to the Bethany Beach community.

TJ Linton began working in the restaurant industry at just 19 years old and joined FINS Hospitality Group in 2016. Since then, he has played a key role in opening several FINS locations and has managed each of the group's restaurants during his tenure. Linton currently serves as District Manager for FINS Hospitality Group and is a partner at Waterman's Seafood Co in Ocean City, MD., FINS Oyster Bar & Grill in Georgetown, and now Claws Seafood House in Bethany Beach. Linton says he looks forward to building lasting relationships with guests in Bethany Beach and establishing a loyal local following.

JR Hamer, son of FINS Hospitality Group owner Jeff Hamer, has been deeply involved in the family's restaurant business from an early age. Over the years, he has taken on nearly every role in the restaurant, from clearing tables and washing dishes to serving guests and managing multiple locations. Like his father, hospitality is more than a job for JR, it's a lifelong passion. Currently attending the University of South Carolina, he is pursuing a degree in Hospitality Management. JR says he is dedicated to delivering the classic Claws experience and hopes to make the new Bethany location a place guests look forward to visiting every summer.

Their commitment to quality, hospitality, and memorable dining experiences reflects the loyal following built at the Rehoboth Beach location. Linton, Hamer, and their team welcomed a strong turnout of guests during opening weekend, marking an exciting start to the restaurant's newest chapter and their introduction to the Bethany Beach community.

The Bethany Beach location features the same coastal-inspired menu that has made the original restaurant a Delaware favorite, with a focus on fresh seafood, casual dining, and the signature all-you-can-eat crab offerings that bring guests back year after year.

Conveniently located along Garfield Parkway, Claws Seafood House is positioned to serve both year-round residents and the many seasonal visitors who help define Delaware's beach communities.
